"... To walk in the way of honor..."

The Theta Gamma chapter of Sigma Nu Fraternity at the University of Southern Mississippi prides itself on campus and community involvement, leadership development, and a strong bond of brotherhood.

Every member is involved in campus organizations outside of the fraternity; some of these organizations include SGA, IFC, GEWW Crew, and Southern Style. Sigma Nu regularly volunteers and participates in community service events in Hattiesburg such as assisting with Hope for Hattiesburg, the Southern Pines Animal Shelter, and the DuBard School on campus. Our members log many service hours annually and have a true presence at Southern Miss and in the Hattiesburg community.

Sigma Nu strives to build men into better men and excel with honor. This does not mean changing an individual but rather providing the opportunities and tools for success in college and the future to come. Beneficial business, social, and leadership skills are learned through many experiences and our educational program called LEAD standing for Leadership, Ethics, Achievement, and Development. Furthermore, with thousands of brothers across the nation and successful alumni, Sigma Nu is a place to build a vast network of connections.

Along with connections, you will find yourself creating lifelong friendships and being apart of a strong brotherhood. Each semester we have a brotherhood retreat at a cabin or go camping while also having many other events. Sigma Nu at Southern Miss is built upon men with high integrity and honor and provides a genuine fraternity experience.

Sigma Nu can give you a chance to get the most out of college with academics, socially, athletics, leadership, and involvement on campus and off, helping you become the best version of you. Whatever you put into the fraternity, you will get out of it.
